The home trials are great

The home trials are great. You don't know how a style fits your face until you try them, and this way you get to decide in your own time instead of being rushed or pressured In a shop. Not sure with the first trial of 4? You can get another trial of 4 until you're happy.
I'm happy with my glasses for the first time in years. Fabulous prices great service, I won't go anywhere else now. Glasses direct are perfect

Great service as usual

Great service as usual, delivery was a few days longer than normal but that was due to the current postal disruption.
Quality of the glasses is good and would definitely recommend.
One small thing that could be set as an option would be the type of glasses case supplied.
My last delivery came with a good quality hard case but now are supplied with a soft material slip case 🙁

Takes an age and poor customer service

Takes an age and poor customer service
Ordered 4 pair of glasses asking them to use prescription they have on file
4 days later I get email saying I need to send prescription
Week later get a email saying glasses gone for lenses
2 week later email saying frames not in stock pick new ones … no thanks I need glasses now not next year 3 weeks after order still no glasses

First time purchase

First time purchase, Rayban sunglasses. Not entirely happy with the quality of the actual frame, seems inferior and a little smaller, not what I was expecting. All other aspects of the glasses are very good. I got 50% off in Black Friday promotion. Absolutely would not have been happy paying full price of £284 for them. Probably revert back to in shop visit to optician.

Accurate and excellent product

When I received the glasses, I’ve seen the box opened, I’m not sure if it was opened from the Royal Email or because the travel that casually the box was opened but the package wasn’t secure for that reason I give 4/5 stars. But the service is great, they send me the email if is everything alright or a refund, in the package there is a return code to send it back if the glasses not suit you well. I really love the glasses and I’m strongly recommend it.

Great delivery great price great…

Great delivery great price great interaction used few times now and returns no problems at all if they are not want you wanting but only ever sent one pair back always use this company half the price and better quality get my eyes tested then send prescription to glasses direct buy my glasses from them very happy with it..

Excellent customer service

One of the two pairs of glasses I had ordered was a poor fit (my fault - I hadn't read the full dimension information of the website when I placed the order). I returned the pair and Glasses Direct replaced them with a better fitting pair all completely free of charge. You can't ask for better customer service than that.

Thought I'd give them a go and paid…

Thought I'd give them a go and paid £10:50 for glasses normally £21 for watching tv. Delivery was a little slow but they looked good out of the box. However, my vision is better without than with them! Have had my prescription checked twice and that is fine...so presume it must be the glasses? I didn't expect much for £10:50, not to worried about how they look, but prerequisite is that they 'work'. Maybe an error making them up. Or perhaps por quality lens, I don't know, so I'll be returning them this week.

Received 2 pairs of glasses, love them

Received 2 pairs of glasses, this is I think my 4th order, my eyesight as had a big jump, and I'm now - 8 in one eye, brings a whole new dimension when have glasses made, so was worried it was too strong for them to do, but it was no problem, I am so relieved, and love my glasses. Thanks so much

So easy and so good.

I have used Glasses Direct 3 times now. Each time I have been extremely happy with the glasses. A little apprehensive this last time as I ordered Varifocals but they are absolutely excellent. The only issue is that they use Royal Mail so there was a 12 day delay on the Track 24 package!

Very quick and efficient

Very quick and efficient
Only issue as on communication - didn't have any confirmation by email or my order or expected delivery time. This is unusual for GD as they always did before. Just saw the money go out of my account and then the dhp notification that they were dispatched etc.

Exchanged with no quibble

I ordered two different pairs of reading glasses, but only one fitted well, so I asked to replace the ill-fitting one with the same as the other one, but in a different colour. No quibble. Received the replacement promptly and I am very pleased with both. Great product, great service.

Great products received and they…

Great products received and they arrived very swiftly despite the Royal Mail strikes. Only down side is that the last time I bought some glasses there was a virtual try on option however, this seems to have disappeared so it made choosing glasses a little more difficult.

First time buying bifocals for driving…

First time buying bifocals for driving but I didn't get sent a pair from my current prescription they took the time to talk to me and find out what I needed and adapted and adjusted the reading part so I was sent a pair for exactly what I needed. They are perfect.

Excellent service

I was kept informed at all stages of the order process and the order arrived quickly. The glasses are good quality, but there was a problem with the fit of one pair. When I returned them a replacement was sent quickly. A very good company to do business with.

Hopeless

I ordered my glasses on the 3rd of December had no update for a whole week till I called on a Friday. The man told me that they were waiting on my prescription.really? Was I supposed to mind read that someone’s waiting for my prescription? No one contacted me about that, plus I had already sent a picture of my prescription via email to which the man seemed surprised and said no worries your order will be put through right now! Ridiculous. And now it’s Tuesday the 13th of December and still no update. Seriously what is going on with the customer service. If you’re looking for immediate glasses don’t bother.

Great quality though not sure about the extras

Once order received by GD it arrived quickly despite being varifocals and the quality was fab. Only reason not a 5 star review is an additional pair arrived, not my frame style and not my prescription but all my details. Photographed and returned extra pair but thinking maybe someone didn't get their order that day and what if someone else got an extra pair with all my details ...

Good quality at affordable prices

The website is easy to navigate and help is on hand quickly if you’re unsure about anything. I love my glasses and the Black Friday deals made this experience even better! Glasses direct always seem to have an offer available making their glasses good quality but at an affordable price. They came so quickly too, I had to wait around 8 days in total from order date. Thank you :)

2nd time user - there will be a third!

2nd time user and initially a bit surprised at how much prices had increased! However after waiting for one of the frequent offers to land, I went ahead at a very good price. Subsequently the whole process was simple and straightforward (as long as you have you prescription) and the glasses arrived quickly and they were correct. Very Good.

Had glasses one day and already broken 😞

Price was great and the whole process from ordering to delivery was great too but I suppose they say, you get what you pay for.

Even so they shouldn’t break in a day unless you sit or stand on them.
